Why three molecular weights

ByTheQuality uses hyaluronic acid in three sizes so each works at a different depth:

• 3,000,000 Da forms a protective layer on the surface to stop moisture loss
• 1,300,000 Da hydrates the middle layer of the skin while strengthening a weak barrier
• 1,000,000 Da absorbs deep into the skin for intensive hydration

Freeze-drying removes only the water, so the hyaluronic acid keeps its original structure until you mix it. ByTheQuality says this gives better stability and efficacy than a pre-mixed liquid.

How to use

1. Open one Hyal Alpha vial. The powder inside is the freeze-dried hyaluronic acid.
2. Pour in an ampoule to dissolve it. Best with EXO 15698, Dermaceleb Cellonic Booster or PN Regen; CIESKIN G9 Solution also works. All sold separately.
3. Close and swirl gently until the powder has fully dissolved and the liquid is clear.
4. Apply to clean skin after toner, morning and night. Tap in until absorbed, then follow with moisturiser.
5. Works well straight after an MTS derma roller session.

• Volume and firming: PN Regen + Hyal Alpha + Crown MTS
• Barrier strengthening and calming: KP Calming Booster + Hyal Alpha
• Brightening and radiance: Vitarect C15, then Hyal Alpha. LAYER, don't mix. Apply Vitarect first, let it absorb for a minute, then apply your mixed Hyal Alpha.

Frequently asked questions

Why is it a powder?
Hyaluronic acid in liquid form slowly loses potency. Freeze-drying keeps it stable until you are ready to use it, so you mix each vial fresh.

What do I mix it with?
EXO 15698, Cellonic Booster or PN Regen work best. G9 Solution also works. Pick based on what else your skin needs.

Can I mix it with Vitarect or Oxytical?
No. LAYER them instead. Pure vitamin C in Vitarect breaks down hyaluronic acid over time, and Oxytical is already a two-part mix. Apply Vitarect or Oxytical first, then your mixed Hyal Alpha.

Can I use it on its own?
No. The powder needs a liquid to dissolve into. You must have a reconstituting ampoule on hand.

How long does a mixed vial last?
Use it up within the lifespan of the ampoule you mixed it with. For Cellonic Booster, that is about 1 to 2 weeks.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Hyaluronic acid is one of the gentlest hydrating ingredients. For sensitive skin, ByTheQuality recommends pairing it with their KP Calming Booster. Patch-test first as with any new product.
